Through art, Sarah Horsley supports Zoo Atlanta’s conservation programs

ICON & Forestry and Natural Resources PhD student Sarah Horsley spent a week in June working as an artist for Zoo Atlanta’s Art Gone Wild painting week, during which she painted from life at the zoo. At the culmination of the week all of the pieces were featured in a show, with a portion of the sales benefiting the zoo’s many conservation programs. Sarah reports she was very pleased to sell most of her pieces.
